EMILIO DE’ CAVALIERI: Rappresentatione di anima et di corpo (Portrayal of the Soul and the Body)
As every year, musicians who specialise in authentic interpretation of early music get together in Znojmo to rehearse a stagiona, this year an oratorium with comic features. The theme was popular in medieval literature which often played with the conflict of the body and soul. Who of them is responsible for the sins of human beings? This oratorium revives the ancient music drama and is the basis for baroque opera.

Jazz Party for Znojmo
Jazzy Talking and GROOVE BAND will open the festival with their cross-over repertoir. This open-air party will also introduce the 2018 edition of festival wines, which you can taste.
