JAZZ EVENING IN THE CLUBS: Adam Tvrdý trio (CZ)
Adam Tvrdý is a guitarist and composer with an expressive multi-genre expression. He follows his own creative ideas in his interpretations and improvisations. But at the same time he respects the traditions and vocabulary of the given musical style. Adam’s own work can be described as contemporary and modern jazz fusions, with elements of the styles he is most influenced by (blues, classic rock, modern and classic jazz, Latin music and classical music).
Event description
He studied jazz guitar with prof. Jaroslav Šindler (KJJ) and classical guitar with prof. Zdenek Dvořák (MKP). Adam Tvrdý has a list of experiences of cooperation with top domestic and world leaders. As a guest guitarist, he participated in concerts and recordings of the ČNSO under the direction of composer maestro Ennio Morricone in the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House in Prague and in the Abbey Road studio in London, where they recorded the music for Quentin Tarantino’s film The Hateful Eight together. Thanks to occasional cooperation with the ČNSO, Adam also played in The Beatles Night and The Holywood Night projects, which were conducted by Carl David.
Another film music giant he met at the Barrandov recording studio is the composer and trumpeter Terrence Blanchard, who worked on the music for the film Red Tails in Prague.
