Accompanied by the Czech Ensemble Baroque, the heart-rending Tobit from The Return of Tobias, the heroic Saul from G. F. Handel’s oratorio or the mysterious and bewitching Saturn from this year’s opera Harmony of the Planets by Antonio Caldara will once again be heard. In the church of St. Nicholas, you will have a unique opportunity to celebrate the round anniversary of the festival with an amazing musical experience.

Český operní basbarytonista
Rodák z Prahy, který vystupoval i jako sólista Metropolitní opery, je jedním z předních operních pěvců současnosti u nás i ve světě. V únoru 2005 se objevil poprvé na komorní scéně Národního divadla jako baryton ve čtyřnotové opeře Toma Johnsona. V létě ztvárnil roli Polyphema v Händelově opeře Acis a Galatea na Hudebním festivalu Znojmo.
