About the festival

The Znojmo Music Festival offers a unique experience, blending a rich variety of musical styles and genres into a harmonious whole. Boldly connecting seemingly incompatible elements, it breaks boundaries and opens new musical horizons for its audience. A cornerstone of the festival is its uncompromising commitment to top-quality performances and the authenticity of every concert and production. At the heart of the program is the annual staging of an opera or ballet, performed in multiple reprises, setting the tone for the entire festival season. Thanks to a carefully curated dramaturgy, all concerts and accompanying events unfold in a cohesive, powerful, and unmistakable spirit.

Since 2026, the festival opera has been held in the modern, newly renovated hall: Centrum Jízdárna, Znojmo.

The Znojmo Music Festival combines extraordinary musical experiences with the finest wine traditions of the Znojmo region. Every concert is complemented by tastings of local wines, enhancing the atmosphere and giving each event a truly unique character. Nearly twenty renowned wineries participate, offering guests guided tastings and engaging talks about their wines. The festival also produces an exclusive limited edition of festival wines—a carefully curated collection selected by a distinguished panel of sommeliers, winemakers, and notable personalities after the program concludes.
